Transfer chargers

In order to log into a charger equipped with a SIM card, you will have to connect to the charger's own WiFi network.

If your charger is connected to your own network through WiFi or Ethernet, please move on to the steps for "Logging in (Ethernet/WiFi)" below.

You will need:

A mobile device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) with WiFi.

Switch off the charger

In the fuse box there is a switch for the charging station. Switch this off and back on again.

Wait

After restarting, the LED on the front of the charger will light up in white/pink. Wait until the LED changes colour.

Connect to the WiFi network

From close proximity of the charger, your device will be able to connect to the charger's network. The sticker on the side of the charger will contain network and password.

Your device might warn you that this device does not have any internet connection.

Please note that by connecting to the charger's network, you might lose connection to this webpage. Read through the following steps before connecting, or download the PDF version of this page here.

Log in

• Once connected, navigate to the webpage 10.10.0.1
• Log in with the Installer details (printed on the sticker).

Your device might warn you that this network isn't private. Through "Advanced" or "More Details", you can accept this warning.

Continue with Step 2.

You will need:

A device with WiFi or ethernet connectivity (Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop or computer) connected to the same network as the charger.

Scan the network for devices

• Your device has to be connected to the same network as the charger.
• Search for "_evse._tcp."
• The hostname is "source-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

Log in

Copy the IP address and paste this into your browser's URL bar.

• • The IP address is "192.168.x.xxx"
  • Remove the port (":80" or ":443").
• Log in with the "Installer" details printed on the sticker.

Your device might warn you that this network isn't private. Through "Advanced" or "More Details", you can accept this warning.

Continue with Step 2.

Make sure the Authorisation Strategy is turned "Off"

Make sure Charger Identity matches your charger's serial number

"Charger Identity" > VT_000xxxx

Configure CSMS endpoint URL to "wss://hub.volttime.com

Enable RFID Enabled

Press Save.

Continue to Step 3

The local whitelist will be canceled.

Disable whitelist:

Scroll all the way down

Select 'Disable' in the Control field

With the Volt Time App you can whitelist cards again.

Caution: This is a required step. Without this step, the charger will not function.

Was "Plug & Charger" enabled during installation, and is there a standard card-ID in use? Make sure the card in question is added through the App.

You're all done! The charger is now configured for the Volt Time Cloud.
